I have been tinkering with the mechanisms from Two Fat Lardies IABSM and TW&T games to use in 40k. The oarts I particularly like are the Big Man rules and the card activation which does away with IGO/UGO. The biggest problem I have had so far is that being WW2 based, they don't treat personal armour that well.

SO far, it all goes with the territory. I don't WORK with 3D models, I PLAY with them!!!! The easiest game to work with so far in imported models is Q3A. Hands down, flat out. A point: You've used the look key, swung the view around, down, and ended up looking THROUGH Laras face, right? Same thing. McG.

Well, for one right now I am pretty much stuck playing the VP versions of the game. So obviously 'shaking' doesn't always work well. It makes the game much more interesting that way. So far I have racked up a few System 1 games that I like: Pinball Pool, (getting to like) Count-Down, Sinbad, & Solar Ride.

Dialogue is quite good so far; story isn't bad - at least it's not a 'Save The World' par for course one anyway ;-). That was my primary mandate- avoid the 'unlikely hero saves the world from the clutches of the evil dark lord' plot. Great work so far - much tx for providing this game for free.

What I'm finally starting to understand, I think, is that Steve does his best work with a game like T3 or SM. They're aggressive, mean, in your face, Lyman can do better than he's done so far.
